Fresh Cowpea Salad

INGREDIENTS

1 kg of fresh cowpeas
4 tomatoes
1 onion
2-3 cloves of garlic
Salt
Sugar
Olive oil
Black pepper
1 tea spoon cinnamon
1 cup of water

Preparation
Chop onion and garlic and fry in olive oil. Cut the cowpeas in 4-5 cm length and add them to the onions. Peel and chop tomatoes and add these to the mixture as well. Add salt, sugar, cinnamon and pepper. Pour water, add a little more olive oil and cook on low heat. Serve.
